WOULD YOU WIN A “GOLD” MEDAL?

The Olympics are being televised this week. Let’s pretend they’ve added a new Olympic Event called “recruiting” and “marketing.” Would you
win a Gold Medal based on youpr performance in the past eight months? If you had judges sitting in front of your desk grading you on a scale of 1 to 10, (10 being the highest) what did you score this week? Are you giving yourself a chance to WIN THE GOLD, or would you be cut in the first round of competition?
The athletes goal is to win a GOLD MEDAL, your goal in recruiting is to earn enough money to live the lifestyle of your dreams, while you change the lives of the people you represent!
Money isn’t everything, but I hold it next to oxygen because, when you have money you can breathe easier!
Your finances have the greatest impact on your life only preceded by good health. Money provides you with more “choices.” During my childhood I was taught “money is the root of all evil” and without realizing it, my financial thermostat was set low.
Most of you have heard “It’s better to give than to receive.” Think about that for a minute – it’s mathematically impossible. For there to be a giver, there has to be a receiver! This saying originated in Scotland and it stated “It is better to give than to HAVE to receive.” By the time it was translated on Ellis Island our ancestors dropped the word “Have” which changed the entire meaning.
During a Mastermind Call, one of the participants said something to me that enabled me to set loftier goals: If you HAVE MORE, you can GIVE MORE. Bono would not be able to donate millions if he was not worth millions of dollars.
You are in a profession with no limits on your income. Your owner is never going to walk up to you and say STOP, no more placements, we have enough! Don’t place any more temps or contractors on assignments this month! That would never happen.
The only person who limits your income is you! Your owner or manager doesn’t write your paycheck – YOU DO! You need to figure out exactly what lifestyle you want to live, and then realize you can attain your dreams because you are compensated based on your performance.
The same inner drive and determination that launches athletes to Olympic competition can launch you to much higher levels of success and income. Athletes give up a normal lifestyle to train for the Olympics. What are you willing to change or give up to attain top production? The day you figure out your “WHY” is the day you will be on your way to win GOLD in the Recruiting Profession.
