Now is the time to study your BEST BUSINESS. Where did you make placements in 2007? What is your best business…the job order you know you will fill the minute you write it? You need to write down the title, industry, salary level, specs and aim 85% of your marketing efforts in 2008 at that BEST BUSINESS.
In contingency direct hires, you will also consider the fee percentage and time it takes to pay your invoice. In temp and contract, you will study your highest margin business. Don’t just WORK the orders that are “called in.” Write down a Marketing Plan and stick to it. It’s all about “best use of your time” so you spend your time where you can make the most money - while servicing your candidates and clients.
