Not in THIS JOB MARKET.
We are working in a candidate-driven market. Our services are needed more than any other time in history. Why are you reducing your FEES. get back on the phone and land a client who understand the value in the services you offer.
If for some reason you do reduce your fee, here are some tips.
1. Quit counting by 5! Don’t go from 25% to 25% - that is a 20% REDUCTION in your fee - not 5%
2. In TEMP & CONTRACT, never quote a BILL RATE ending in “0″ or “5″ add two or three cents - it DOES ADD UP.
3. Trying giving a FLAT dollar amout vs. a reduction in your percentage
4. Discount for multiple HIRES - not JOB ORDERS - you re only paid on results.
Always be upgrading your client base so you can identify full-fee paying clients. We have actually had clients INCREASE our fee percentage so they get our FIRST ATTENTION! You can CHOOSE the clients you represent - that is EMPOWERING and has a direct impact on your INCOME.
Here’s to full FEES and HIGH MARGINS!
