Does the word EXCELLENT describe you?

Years ago I learned the definition of “Excellence” - it is the commitment to completion. It is the one element that separates average producers from those who excel. Ask yourself this simple question “Do you complete what you commit to do?” If you write a job order, do you commit to having at least 2 or 3 individuals in the final interviewing process? When you interview an MPC - Most Placeable Candidate, do you market them to their five top targeted companies as well as some of your best clients? (In this candidate driven market - marketing candidates is very effective)
Would you also use the words high integrity and honesty to describe you? If a client describes “MISSION IMPOSSIBLE” when they submit an order, are you honest with them or do you take the order, hang up and laugh? Often you can lower the experience level, raise the salary level or eliminate certain criteria that make the job order fillable. When you interview a candidate who you know you will NOT place - are you honest with them? Do you give them referrals to sources who might be able to help them? If you don’t and give them false expectations, they will end up very upset when you do not find them a job! Let them know what they have to do, to make themselves more marketable.
Starting today make a personal commitment to provide EXCELLENT service to both your clients and candidates - and remember the definition of excellence - YOUR COMMITMENT TO COMPLETION. If you truly make this personal commitment you will enjoy a much greater level of success which will obviously provide you with a higher income!
