Every recruiter I speak with is “overwhelmed” with the current level of activity in their offices. This is good and bad news. If you keep switching gears all day from one top priority to the other, you limit your ability to effectively attain the goals you have set.
I’d like to give you two simple pieces of advice:
1. When you are planning out your next days activities, write down the SIX results-oriented activites you MUST accomplish tomorrow. As you accomplish them you check them off. You don’t leave until those six things are done because that will keep you focused on best use of your time.
2. Focus on SEND OUTS. That is the key to your success. Each day ask yourself “WHERE IS MY SEND OUT TODAY?” You job is to get your candidates in front of your clients. If you don’t date - you don’t get married. If you don’t book send-outs, you don’t get placements.
If you implement just these two ideas - you will be amazed at the results you enjoy!
