PREP YOUR CLIENTS!

For years we have been taught that the best way to gain a competitive edge is to prep our candidates prior to interviews. This is still a true statement, but in the current Candidate Driven Marketplace - it is critically important to also prep your CLIENTS.

Often it is the client with the higher level of interest than the candidate. Candidates are receiving multiple offers, they are receiving counter-offers from their current employers and are very much in demand. Clients must understand the need to SELL their opportunities, their company culture and must focus on the hot buttons of each candidate they interview. (which can be provided by you!)

We are judged on our ability to achieve results. You will provide more results when your clients understand how fierce the competition is for top talent.

ONE ADDITIONAL TIP:
When you have a client with a strong level of interest than your candidate - make sure you also debrief your CLIENT first. You need this information prior to speaking with your candidate so you can sell them on the opportunity.
