There is a three week process in recruiting. What you are doing RIGHT NOW, is setting you up for three weeks from now. This is a very busy time of year and it is so easy to get distracted. It is more difficult to contact your hiring authorities and candidates, but the ones that ARE available have more flexibility at this time of year!
Your clients have their new hiring budgets in LESS THAN TEN DAYS! Some may need to hire by December 31st so they use up this year’s budget. If they don’t spend their budget, they could get money in their budget next year. These are all excellent reasons to stay focused.
What you produce in December really reflects your production in 2007! December sets up your year. If you intend to have a RECORD YEAR in 2007, what you do now really IMPACTS that plan! Enjoy the holiday AFTER you get the daily results you need to stay on track. I’m not trying to rain on your holiday celebrations - BUT what you do or don’t do this week, will hit you in three weeks!
Your PDA - Per Desk Average is comparable to your GPA in school. If you start out low, it is much more difficult to catch up. Set yourself up to have the best January ever! Focus on booking at least one send out per day, interview at least three new candidates daily, talk to a minimum of 20 NEW PEOPLE every day and you CAN’T FAIL!
Study your stats from this past year and figure out your personal ratios. Once you have these numbers, you will know exactly what you have to do next year to earn the money you DESERVE!
