It’s interesting that we all have the same 168 hours in every week, and yet some people seem to be able to get so much more done than others? The key to strong time management skills is to make it a priority. If you don’t, you will be further behind at 4:00 than you were when you walked in the door.

Our profession is phone intensive, which can easily get us focused on the “URGENT” vs. the “IMPORTANT” tasks of the day. If you want to achieve peak performance you need be become very selfish with PRIME TIME
which are the hours from 9:00 - 11:30 AM and 1:30 - 4:00 PM! That is when you have the best chance to reach yoru hiring authorities and candidates.

Three quick time management tips:
1. Fill out your planner BEFORE you leave work. Plan your day -work your plan.
2. Take candidate incoming calls only between the hours of 4:00 - 5:00 PM
3. Only work job orders where you have a “TARGET DATE” to fill the job and interviewing times!

If you follow any one of these three tips, you will instantly be managing your time more effectively!
