WILMA - APPRECIATE YOUR “NO SHOW”

This entry is being written as I sit in the Orlanda, FL airport, returning from speaking at the ASA Conference. It was nice that one of the on-site registrants HURRICANE Wilma, was gracious enough to reschedule her arrival until AFTER the Conference! This was possibly the first time in history a room filled with recruiters cheered a “NO SHOW”!

There are so many benefits of attending conferences in addition to the education. It was wonderful spending time with great friends, Ken Bohan, Jim Morrissey, Bob Pugliano and Bob McClimans as well as the hundreds of familiar faces who took the time to reconnect. The networking that occurs at these events is worth the price of admission!
It was also gratifying to spend time with an unbelievably receptive room of professionals. Thank you for your comments, your voice messages, notes, emails and thank you for your enthusiasm! You made my first experience speaking at ASA “FUN, and in return I hope you enjoyed the learning experience.
Don’t forget to put a rubber band around your wrist, to remind you it takes 21 days to change a HABIT. If that technique worked for Michael Jordan, it will certainly work for you. If you incorporate just ONE of the many strategies we discussed – I guarantee you will see RESULTS! Concentrate on ONE CHANGE starting Monday morning – no matter what else happens and no matter how many times the phone rings!
A COUPLE OF QUICK REMINDERS:
• Your job is to BOOK SEND OUTS
• When in doubt – SEND THEM OUT
• Always think “BEST USE OF MY TIME”
• Track how many NEW people you talk to each day
• Remember your future is in “YOUR” hands!
